1. General Information and Description

CaHA + Filler is a combination injectable treatment that uses calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) and hyaluronic acid (HA) filler to support facial rejuvenation, enhance facial contours, and improve the overall appearance of skin quality.

The combination is designed to address different aspects of facial ageing. HA filler can provide targeted volume and structural support, while CaHA may provide additional support and stimulate the skin’s natural collagen production over time.

Depending on the treatment area, formulation, and injection technique, CaHA + Filler may be used to enhance facial definition, restore selected areas of volume loss, and support a more balanced facial appearance.

Treatment areas may include the cheeks, chin, jawline, lower face, and other areas where additional structural support or contour refinement may be desired. The treatment approach is customised according to individual facial anatomy and aesthetic goals.

2. How It Works

CaHA + Filler combines two injectable materials with different properties.

HA filler is injected into selected areas to provide targeted volume and structural support. It can be used to help restore areas of volume loss or enhance facial contours.

CaHA contains calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended within a gel carrier. Following injection, the gel component can provide initial support, while the CaHA microspheres may act as a biostimulatory scaffold that encourages the body’s natural collagen production.

By combining these materials, treatment can be tailored to address both immediate structural needs and gradual changes in skin support. The amount, placement, depth, and technique used for each component depend on the treatment area and the individual’s facial anatomy.

3. What to Expect and When Results Appear

A CaHA + Filler treatment typically takes around 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the number and size of areas being treated. A topical or local anaesthetic may be used to improve comfort during the procedure.

Temporary swelling, redness, tenderness, bruising, or mild discomfort may occur following treatment. These effects generally improve as the treated area recovers.

Some changes in facial contour or volume may be visible shortly after treatment, particularly from the HA filler and gel carrier. The appearance may change as temporary swelling subsides and the treated area settles.

CaHA’s biostimulatory effects develop gradually as collagen production and tissue remodelling take place. Improvements in skin firmness and support may therefore become more apparent over the following weeks to months.

The duration of results varies depending on factors such as the products used, treatment area, injection technique, individual response, and lifestyle. Additional treatment may be recommended depending on the individual’s treatment goals and assessment by the medical practitioner.

4. Who Is a Good Candidate

CaHA + Filler may be considered for individuals who:

  • Wish to improve facial definition and contour
  • Are concerned about mild to moderate facial volume loss
  • Wish to enhance selected facial features with targeted volume
  • Are concerned about reduced skin firmness or elasticity
  • Wish to support natural collagen production
  • Want to address both facial structure and skin quality
  • Prefer a minimally invasive approach to facial rejuvenation

A consultation with a qualified medical professional is recommended to assess facial anatomy, skin condition, treatment goals, and suitability for CaHA + Filler. The appropriate treatment approach, product selection, amount, and injection technique will vary between individuals.
